Video summary/cliff-notes:

(00:00) Gage Workman describes the feeling of being selected for the Cubs' trip to Japan as "unbelievable" and a dream come true.

(00:29) Initially surprised by the Japan games on the Cubs' schedule, he now sees it as an incredible opportunity to start his MLB career overseas.

(01:02) He is excited about experiencing Japanese culture, food, baseball atmosphere, and playing in the iconic Tokyo Dome.

(01:34) His approach to Camp was to control what he could, focus on playing his game, and let everything else unfold naturally.

(02:04) Transitioning from the Tigers to the Cubs was an adjustment, as he had to learn new names and faces, but the team was very welcoming.

(03:36) He has been getting defensive reps at multiple positions and credits infield coach Austin Moda for helping him stay prepared.

(04:38) Workman feels comfortable at third base but continues to learn from experienced infielders like Dansby Swanson and Nico Hoerner.

(05:10) While he acknowledges his strong spring performance, he remains humble, believing the game has a way of keeping players grounded.

(06:09) He and Matt Shaw have built a strong friendship, training together since January and supporting each other's development.

(06:45) While they acknowledge their competition for playing time, Workman and Shaw focus on their own progress and root for each other.
