Four Bears players out against Packers, Justin Fields off injury report

by - Senior Editor -

The Chicago Bears announced on Friday their injury report in advance of Sunday's rivalry game against the Green Bay Packers.

Bears rookie defensive backs Kyler Gordon and Jaquan Brisker (concussions) have been ruled out for Sunday. Backup quarterback Trevor Siemian (oblique) and tackle Larry Borom (ankle/knee) are also out of the contest.

Tackle Riley Reiff (back) and cornerback Kindle Vildor (ankle) are questionable on the injury report.

However, there is good news on the injury report as franchise quarterback Justin Fields is no longer on the injury report and has been a full participant in practice the last two days.

"He's gaining mobility and strength," Matt Eberflus said Friday on Justin Fields. "If it keeps going the way it is, it's a green light [to start]."

Fields has passed for 1,642 yards, 13 touchdowns, and eight interceptions in 11 games this season. On the ground, he has 122 carries for 834 yards and seven rushing touchdowns.

The Bears (3-9) and Packers (4-8) will play on Sunday noon CT from Soldier Field.
