Breaking: Bears make several roster moves |
The Chicago Bears announced Saturday that they have activated offensive lineman Larry Borom from the injured list to the 53-man roster ahead of Sunday's game against the Arizona Cardinals.
Borom is expected to start on Sunday at left tackle with the rash of injuries on the Bears offensive line. He has not played in a regular-season game this season because he was hurt in the preseason game against the Kansas City Chiefs. Overall, he has appeared in 39 games in his first three seasons with the Bears. He was a fifth-round pick out of Missouri. The Bears also elevated offensive lineman Jake Curhan and cornerback Reddy Steward from the practice squad to give them more depth heading into the game. Curhan has played the previous three seasons with the Seahawks with 29 appearances including nine starts. Steward was signed by the Bears as an undrafted free agent out of Troy. He was a preseason standout with multiple picks.
