WATCH: Rizzo hilariously stares down Strop during mound visit

Sometimes all you need is a good stare down contest.

During the 9th inning of Thursday night's game against the Pirates, Cubs first baseman Anthony Rizzo was alongside Jim Hickey and others as reliever Pedro Strop took a moment during the mound visit before trying to get the final out of the ballgame.

In classic Rizzo form, he stared down Strop for a good five seconds to try to make Strop laugh and break the tension of the high-pressure situation. Somehow Strop didn't laugh but he did get his ninth save of the season in the team's 1-0 win against the Bucs.

The Cubs are now a season-high 20 games above .500.
