Wisdom is good.
Chicago Cubs outfielder Patrick Wisdom smacked a solo homer to put the Cubs up 3-1 in the second inning against the White Sox on Wednesday night. It was Wisdom's fifth homer of the season, and it had an impressive exit velocity of 107.3 MPH. Previously in the inning, Nico Hoerner smacked a two-run shot as the Cubs are showing some signs of life offensively after a rough patch of games. This is the first time in 14 games that the Cubs have hit at least two homers in a game.
