Turn those thumbs up instead of down, Mets fans.
After a ton of backlash from home fans and management over Javy Baez's thumbs-down gesture, he put on a show today to quiet the haters. In classic, El Mago style, Javy Baez scored the game-winning run scoring on a single from left field in an epic slide for the victory. This was all part of a wacky five-run bottom of the ninth inning. Hopefully, this will quash some of the booing that Mets fans have been doing of late towards Baez and others.
