Cubs, White Sox announce revised schedule with split-squad games

MESA – Major League Baseball, the Chicago Cubs and the Chicago White Sox today announced the clubs will play seven-inning split squad games at Sloan Park and Camelback Ranch Thursday, March 17, with both contests starting at 1:05 p.m. MT.

Single game tickets for the Cubs revised 2022 Spring Training schedule will go on sale today at noon MT/2 p.m. CT, at www.sloanpark.com and in person at the Sloan Park Ticket Office. There is a limit of 14 tickets per game. Any order exceeding the ticket limit may be canceled. Fans may direct ticket and additional Spring Training questions to mesa@cubs.com or via phone at 480-668-0500 ext. 1

The split squad games against the White Sox will mark the start of Chicago’s Cactus League schedule, which continues the following evening with a March 18 7:05 p.m. MT game at Scottsdale Stadium against the San Francisco Giants. In all, Chicago will play 21 Cactus League games, including 10 games at Sloan Park and 11 games on the road with an off day, Thursday, March 31.
