A key member of the Chicago Bears defense is staying put.
On Tuesday, the Bears announced that they have re-signed veteran safety Tashaun Gipson Sr. to a one-year deal. Gipson broke the news on his Instagram account last night. He was a big part of the defense as he started all 16 games last season. He has also had stints with the Browns, Jaguars, and Texans. During his NFL career, he has 446 tackles, 23 interceptions, 47 pass breakups, and 13 tackles for loss. He was an undrafted free agent from Wyoming in 2012.
