CHICAGO – With just three weeks to go until the Bears kick off their highly-anticipated 2024 season, Marquee Sports Network today announced its Chicago Bears coverage plans, including the addition of former Bears kicker Robbie Gould and former Bears head coach Dave Wannstedt to its on-air Bears talent lineup.

Gould and Wannstedt are scheduled to join Cubs Live! this afternoon (12 PM CT) to preview the upcoming Chicago Bears season and look ahead to Marquee Sports Network’s Bears programming.

Beginning September 8, Marquee Sports Network will air three weekly Chicago Bears programs, available on Marquee Sports Network and the Marquee Sports Network App*. See below for more information:

The Official Bears Postgame Live presented by United Airlines is the official postgame show of the Chicago Bears, providing first exclusive and live coverage of post-game press conferences, locker room interviews, instant analysis and much more. Airing immediately after all Chicago Bears regular season games, The Official Bears Postgame Live will be hosted by Cole Wright with analysis from Coach Wannstedt and post-game player interviews with Jeff Joniak.

Bears Den returns in 2024 on Tuesday evenings beginning September 10 as Taylor McGregor and Robbie Gould go beyond the X’s and O’s with special guests and discussion of the biggest on and off-the-field storylines around the Bears and the NFL.

Bear Essentials returns in 2024 on Friday evenings beginning September 13 with Elise Menaker and Tom Waddle, providing a weekly preview of the upcoming Bears game, including player breakdowns, matchups to watch and game predictions.

Gould joins Marquee Sports Network following an 18-season NFL career, including 11 seasons with the Bears from 2005-15 in which he became the franchise’s all-time leading scorer with 1,207 points. Gould retired in 2023 and now serves as head coach at Rolling Meadows High School in Illinois.

“The Bears family has always been special to me, so I’m very excited to reconnect with the fans and talk Bears football every week through Marquee Sports Network,” said Gould. “We’re going to have a lot of fun.”

Wannstedt was a long-time NFL and college head coach, including serving six seasons as head coach with the Bears from 1993-98, including a postseason appearance in 1994.

“I’m looking forward to joining the official Bears postgame show this fall on Marquee Sports Network, breaking down what’s hopefully an entertaining Bears season and engaging with Bears fans each week,” said Wannstedt. “Thank you to Marquee Sports Network for this opportunity and can’t wait to get the season underway.”

Additionally, Marquee Sports Network announced the addition of a dedicated Bears Insider providing year-round comprehensive coverage across digital and social platforms. Bears Insider Scott Bair (X: @ScottBairNFL) joins Marquee Sports Network after previously covering the Chargers, Raiders and Falcons for more than 15 NFL seasons. Bair will also be a weekly contributor to The Official Bears Postgame Live with insights and reports from each Bears game.

“Anticipation for the upcoming Bears season is undeniable! It’s pervasive throughout the community and we’re keenly aware from listening to our audience of Bears fans,” said Marquee Sports Network General Manager, Diane Penny. “We’re immensely proud of our Chicago Bears Partnership and ecstatic to deliver expanded Bears coverage across all of our platforms.
