The first of many for Seiya Suzuki.

The new Cubs outfielder collected his first major league hit and first run in the fifth inning against the Brewers on Opening Day.

Suzuki went on to score on a Patrick Wisdom sacrifice fly to tie the game at 1-1.

The exciting rookie is the sixth player over the last five seasons to record his first MLB hit off of a reigning CY Young award winner according to ESPN Stats & Info.
