Vegas odds on Bears-Cardinals

CHICAGO - For just the second time this season, the Bears are favored to win a game. Currently, they are favored to win by 4.5 points with an over / under set at 44.5. While both teams have been without their starting quarterbacks for long periods of time, the Cardinals and Bears will each have their starters going into this game, which is probably playing into the over / under.

What does not appear to be playing into the over / under is the play of the Chicago defense. In four of the last five games, they have allowed 20 points or less. Further, they have 14 turnovers over the last four games. Last week, with a lower over / under, Chicago managed to keep the game under. Count on them to do it again, particularly with the higher over / under.

Starting with individual player props, DJ Moore is the first player to start with. First, he should be set to have another game with receiving yards over. He is the top target on the team and against Arizona, there is not much of a question that he will perform well once again. Further, he should score a touchdown in this game. As he is the No. 1 target and the Bears will surely get an offensive touchdown in this game, particularly if the defense is to generate multiple turnovers once again working with a short field.

Tight end Cole Kmet being questionable makes it a little harder to bet on him, especially since he was limited on Wednesday and Thursday with a quadricep injury. However, if he is able to play, according to BetMGM, has hit receptions over in the past five home games for Chicago. Given his target percentage of about 27.5%, Kmet is another key factor in the Bears offense and should thus hit the over once again on receptions. In addition, he should hit the over on receiving yards as he has almost nine yards per reception.

Quarterback Justin Fields did not run the ball a lot last week. However, that was not surprising given the strength of the Cleveland defense. Going against the Cardinals, who are respectfully not the caliber of Cleveland, Fields should be back running the ball. Therefore, betting on the over / under for Fields rushing total, he should go over.

When Chicago loses, they have the tendency to lose in very close games. Conversely, when they win, they have won three of their five games by at least 15 points. So, making this bet truly depends on how you believe the Bears will play. If they are going to stall on offense again, then this could be a very close game and the Cardinals could end up winning. If the offense is cliquing, then this could be another double-digit victory for the Bears.
