by - Senior Editor -

Andy Green got his money's worth on Friday.

The Cubs interim manager got ejected for arguing a play at second base.

Green was upset after there was no interference call when Sergio Alcantara tried to throw to first base for the double play.

He eventually tossed his hat, getting back in the ump's face, and then was booted from the game.

It was Green's 13th career ejection as a manager.

The game is currently tied at 5-5 after the inning.

David Ross is currently in quarantine after testing positive for COVID-19.
