Former Cubs slugger Frank Schwindel reportedly signs with pro team

'Frank the Tank' will be showing off his talents overseas.

According to multiple reports, including MLB Trade Rumors, former Cubs slugger Frank Schwindel will sign a deal with the Orix Buffaloes of Japan's NPB.

Schwindel was recently playing with the Aguilas Cibaenas in the Dominican Winter League.

He was released by the Cubs in September.

In 2022, he had a .229 average with 8 homers and 36 RBIs.

For this MLB career, he hit .269 with 22 homers in 145 games.
