Chicago Cubs catcher Willson Contreras was unable to catch a fastball by Wade Davis and it hit the home plate umpire in the facemask during Thursday night's clinching win for the Cubs over the Nationals.
The umpire was checked out for a few minutes by the training staff and appeared a little groggy. Eventually, he was OK and he did a playful punch to Contreras to get him back for missing the ball.
