Bears News: White Sox announcer: "That's enough of that BS" |
The crosstown rivalry between the Cubs and White Sox is getting heated on Tuesday afternoon. Kris Bryant was ejected fo the first time in his major league career and starter John Lackey has plunked four batters. The last Cubs pitcher to hit four batters in a game was Moe Drabowsky in 1957 according toe ESPN Stats and Information.
The White Sox announcer Ken "Hawk" Harrelson got a little wild after Lackey hit his fourth batter of the game. "That's enough of that B.S.," Harrelson said. "Lackey, it's just a matter of time buddy." Another interesting comment by Harrelson later in the inning. "You can bet your sweet bippy someone's going to get hit on the Cubs." Lackey actually got out of the inning with a groundout as the White Sox left the bases loaded. In the fifth inning, the White Sox got retaliation as they hit Ian Happ with a fastball in his legs and both sides were warned by the home plate umpire.
