Bears News: Jorge Soler to start in right field on Wednesday?

by - Senior Editor -

Cubs backup outfielder Jorge Soler hasn't made an impact this postseason compared to a year ago for the Cubs. However, Soler has not made the most of his opportunities going 0-for-8 with two walks and three strikeouts in the 2016 postseason.

In the World Series game one, Chris Coghlan got the start in right field over Jason Heyward and him. With the offense sputtering against the Indians, this would be an ideal time to showcase the young slugger.

It appears that he might get another look with multiple reports that he will get the start tonight in Game two of the World Series against the Indians.

The Cubs will face the Indians at 6:08 pm CT on Wednesday night.
