Friday passes for 2023 Cubs convention go on sale January 5 |
CHICAGO – The Chicago Cubs today announced that a limited number of Friday-only passes for the 36th Annual Cubs Convention will go on sale to the general public Thursday, January 5, at noon CST. The 2023 Cubs Convention kicks off Friday, January 13, at 5 p.m. CST, at the Sheraton Grand Chicago.
Fans who purchase Friday-only passes will have access to all activities and experiences taking place Friday, January 13, only, including the college gameday-inspired show, Marquee Sports Network: Red Carpet Special, Opening Ceremony, Off the Mound with Ryan Dempster presented by Budweiser and late-night Harry Carayoke. “We have been taking a fresh look at Cubs Convention this year and are excited to provide our fans with a flexible, new choice to celebrate their holiday weekend,” said Cubs Senior Vice President of Marketing Jennifer Martindale. “Gathering fan feedback is a priority for us and we look forward to testing the Friday-only passes this year. These passes are limited though so we encourage interested fans to act quickly.” There is a limit of six Friday-only passes per household and each pass is $50 plus convenience fees. Friday-only passes will be delivered to the purchaser’s MLB Ballpark app. Fans are encouraged to act quickly as passes are limited.
