I'm almost beginning to wonder if there is a contagious psychosis among Cubs pundits that causes them to think, "Nico Hoerner is an excellent young shortstop defensively and offensively, but we want the Cubs to invest a huge piece of their salary pie in... a shortstop! and move Hoerner to second!" Respectfully, what in the world are you thinking?
