We have to be the poorest team to lose to the teams we should easily beat. When we can't beat teams that are below you in the standings that's a major problem. It has to be fixed. Imo the day to day starting lineup would look like this.
LF-up for the taking CF-Almora RF- Heyward 3rd- Bryant Short- Baez 2nd- Dee Gordon 1st - Rizzo Catcher--Contreras Pitcher-?

That's a formadble lineup power and speed at the top, power and hitting for average the middle down. Why not try the same lineup for a couple of weeks in a row. Nothing else seems to be working.
Dee Gordon would be a great pick up in 2014. He's worse than Bote/Russell combo we have right now.
As for Schwarber, I have been saying since December the Cubs should offer him and Happ to Cleveland for Trevor Bauer and a minor leaguer. Go rent a player for left field for the balance of the year.
