Tough news for the Bears offense.

The team will reportedly place starting running back Khalil Herbert on injured reserve on Friday with his ankle injury.

Herbert is expected to miss at least the next four games with the high ankle strain.

He had 272 rushing and 83 yards receiving in five games this season.

Receiver Eqanimeous St. Brown has also been placed on the injured reserve with his hamstring injury.

In a corresponding move, reserve quarterback Nathan Peterman has been promoted from the practice squad to the active roster.
