Former Bears running back Tarik Cohen retires

Former Chicago Bears running back Tarik Cohen announced his retirement from the NFL according to multiple reports on Thursday.

Cohen was on the Carolina Panthers practice squad and was cut last month.

He previously signed with the New York Jets in May but had not played in the NFL since 2020 after several serious injuries.

In 51 games with the Bears, he had 264 rushes for 1,101 yards and five touchdowns, 209 catches for 1,575 yards, and nine touchdowns.
