The Chicago Bears have added another wide receiver to their roster, as Thyrick Pitts Jr. has agreed to join the team as an undrafted free agent.

Pitts, who played college football at the University of Delaware, is a big target at 6-foot-3 and was a three-time all-Colonial Athletic Association wide receiver for the Blue Hens.

He had a productive final season at Delaware, catching a career-high 57 passes for 631 yards and a team-high 10 touchdowns. He provided a key target for Delaware's pass-oriented offense and showed his ability to find the end zone.

Pitts also did local pro days for the Baltimore Ravens, the Washington Commanders, and the Philadelphia Eagles.

The Forest Park graduate had been hoping for an opportunity to showcase his skills in the NFL, and his performance at Delaware's pro day on March 22 helped him attract interest from several teams.

He impressed scouts with his speed and athleticism, posting a 4.37 40-yard dash and a 39-inch vertical leap.

Pitts will now have the opportunity to compete for a spot on the Bears' roster and make an impact in the NFL. His size and ability to make plays in the red zone could make him a valuable asset for the Bears.
