Chicago Bears legend Steve McMichael was admitted to the ICU late Thursday night with sepsis.
His publicist said that he had lost consciousness and released the following update on his condition. "Chicago Bears legend and Pro Football Hall of Famer semi-finalist, Steve "Mongo" McMichael was hospitalized last night. He was admitted to the ICU unconscious with sepsi and put on two IV antibiotics. McMichael is battling ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis). "Like the tough warrior he is, he is now awake, and his vitals are better. His wife, Misty, is at his side and is asking his fans for their prayers. "He needs to see himself enshrined in the Hall of Fame. Please pray for him to get through this," Misty said."
