Bears DB to have season-ending surgery

Not good news to report tonight.

Chicago Bears safety DeAndre Houston-Carson will have season-ending surgery to repair a fractured forearm he suffered during Sunday's loss to the Packers.

Houston-Carson had 47 tackles (fourth-highest on the team), an interception, and four pass breakups in 13 games this season.

He was also important on special teams as he had four tackles with that unit.

The Bears placed defensive end Mario Edwards Jr. on the reserve/COVID-19 list in other roster moves.
