Report: Cubs to call up three players

The Chicago Cubs will call up catcher Victor Caratini, shortstop Mike Freeman, and strikeout pitcher Dillon Maples on Friday in the first round of September call-ups with the expanded rosters according to multiple reports.

Reliever Justin Grimm is also expected to be activated from the disabled list with his finger injury.
